SLATE COATING

The presence of slates as architectural and decorative elements has evolved over the years. Today we find these natural stones in a multitude of spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Coating walls, facades, floors, stairs and even in the design of kitchen countertops. Its rough texture, together with its qualities of resistance and impermeability make this material a powerful candidate, along with marble, granite or travertine, in the choice of decorative elements of the contemporary era. In addition, this natural stone can be found in different shades, from gray, green, black to multicolored slate, forming metallic flashes. Whatever your choice, slates are perfect materials for both avant-garde environments and more traditional spaces.

SURFACE TREATMENTS

Raw: it is called raw, or cut, when no type of treatment is performed on the surface of the Natural Stone by which its original appearance or texture changes.

Polished: It is the finish par excellence, which achieves a completely smooth surface of Natural Stone and an inimitable mirror effect that reflects light, enhancing the beauty of the material.

Honed: thanks to this smooth texture finish, the surface acquires a matte shine that gives Natural Stone greater character and better reflection of light.
